Xiaoqi is located in Jiangwan Township, east of Wuyuan County. The southwestern part of the village is 33 km away from Ziyang Township. Ziyang Township is 152 km west away from Quzhou ( 衢州 ), one of the famous state historical cultural cities in west Zhejiang Province; 58 km north away from Sanqingshan Mountain ( 三清山 ), one of the state scenery showplace spot; 84 km east away from Jindezhen ( 景德镇 ), the china capital; 161 km south away from Huangshan Mountain ( 黄山 ) one of the Global Natural and Cultural Heritage located in southern Anhui Province. Shangxiaoqi Hamlet is located near the entrance of the northwest-to-southeast l g narrow valley with a stream running through, clear enough to its bottom. Xiaxiaoqi Hamlet is located to the joint of the stream and the river on the entrance of the valley. The two hamlets are 1 km away from each other and are connected by an ancient road paved by bluestone boards. With green mountains around, shadowing trees interspersed in the landscape, the settlements are artfully integrated with the natural environment. According to the indicators for climate zone classification introduced by the Climate Map Album of China, Xiaoqi Village is located in the middle sub-tropical warm monsoon and humid climate zone. The annual average temperature in this zone is 16.3° annual precipitation 1818.2 mm, frost free period 248 days, and annual sunshine 1858 hours. The transportation condition of Xiaoqi Village is relatively convenient. The Jiangwan- Zhongcun Road passes through the village and connects Wuyuan-Xiuning Highway, the inter-provincial main road, 5 km away to the southeast. There are more than 10 buses destining to or passing through the village. Xiaoqi Village is located inside the forest, tea and food production area in northeast Wuyuan County. There are 251.3 mu (16.87 hm2) farmland, 291 mu (19.4 hm2) tea land and 110,000 mu (7,333.33 hm2) forest. The forest coverage reaches to 90%. Recently, there are more than 230 households with over 900 people most of whom work on farmland management and tea production.
