Jiangjiazhai Village, which is subordinate to the Dazai country in Yangling Demonstration Zone (YLDZ), is about 9 km from the city proper in the northwest. Considering the actual situation in Jiangjiazhai, the development of sustainable agriculture will take the industrial structure adjustment as the thread, and takes animal husbandry as the breach.

Starting points for SUCCESS: cow-breeding industry which has advanced market level and good economic performance to form sound agricultural ecological cycles; employ advanced practical technology such as applying fertilizer according to the fertility of sort, water-saving irrigation, bio-protection, facility cultivation, intercrop, anti-seasonal production, industrial seedlings raising and replant, etc as well as comprehensive, sci-tech intensive, practical techniques of production and operation so as to improve the utilization levels, productivity and output benefit of the land, reach multiple objectives of eco-social and ecologic results; advocate farmers to develop extensive foreign intercourses such as working out of the village, visiting, transporting, joining associations, etc and facilitate farmers to shift to town or develop secondary and tertiary industry. All of these will improve the rural environment effectively, improve farmers’ income and living quality and facilitate to build modern multi-functional agricultural community within the limits of nature.

姜家寨村位于陕西省杨陵农业技术示范区内。该村的主要特点是以可持续发展的生态农业(循环系统)替代以往单一的种植及畜养农业。“Success”项目研究的重点是:

1)提高畜牧(特别是牛奶等乳制品)的市场竞争力,以形成良性的农业生态循环系统;

2)采用一些简单,有效的技术,使在提高土地产量的同时,保持其生态循环体系;

3)鼓励农民采用新技术,提高农业生态环境的效率,提高农民的收入及生活水平;

4)在有限的自然资源条件下,创造新型的,现代的,具有多种功能意义(如生态,社会的,村落形态)的农业村落。
